MEET-LISTEN-DISCUSS: This is where crafting your home’s story begins. After a guided tour of your home, we discuss a series of questions to learn more about you and your needs for the space, laying the foundation of our design plan.
PLAN-DESIGN-REVIEW: Using the feedback we collected from you, we bring your design into focus one iteration at a time. We know the design is finalized and ready to order after you individually approve every piece in our online design portal.
ORDER-RECEIVE-INSTALL: From purchasing to installation, we provide end-to-end project management to bring your home’s story to life. All that is left is for you to “turn the key” and enjoy your home

We offer a flat fee model based on the scope of the project and size of your home.
Interior Design
-
Driven by how you live and what brings you to the area, we work in collaboration with you, your builder, and/or architect to design a home that is distinctly yours and of the area. Our approach is modern, in the context of mountain living.

Drafting & Concept Development
1) Create and/or digitize blueprints to layout initial 2D concepts.
2) Pull inspo images, create initial color direction, design mood board, source initial finishes, and build initial presentation
3) Review with client and collect feedback.
Design Development
1) Select tile, paint, wallpaper, cabinetry, plumbing, lighting, hardware, and necessary accessories. Source samples and compile into client presentation.
2) Finalize 2D elevations and built-in specifications
3) Review with client and collect feedback.
Final Design & 3D Renderings
1) Incorporate feedback and make any necessary changes.
2) Develop and present 3D renderings for final sign-off of materials and visual execution
Written Set & Bid Specs
1) Create material specification schedule for General Contractor to bid.
2) After budget is submitted, make any necessary material changes based on pricing and/or availability
Execution & Wrap Up
1) Contractor and client correspondence, onsite walk throughs, final walkthrough, resolve any deficiencies

We offer a hybrid flat fee +hourly model based on the scope of the project. The flat fee is based on a clearly defined scope of work and deliverables. Anything beyond that scope of work will be billed hourly.

LOGISTICS & SUPPORT
By partnering with Tahoe Modern, you get to enjoy all of the fun parts of designing your home and none of the logistical stress to make it all seamlessly come together. Once you approve the design, our team handles the rest. We purchase, track, inspect, and manage all of the install logistics, including any necessary warranty claims.
