Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a PMP certification, extensive project management experience in the interior design industry, and the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously. This role will oversee the timeline and milestones of each project from start to finish, manage the workflow and oversight of our 3rd party purchasing and tracking partner, and handle install logistics and communication both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Manage the overall timeline and milestones for multiple interior design projects, ensuring each phase is completed on schedule and within budget.
Workflow Management: Oversee and streamline the workflow of the design team and 3rd party purchasing and tracking partner to ensure seamless project execution.
Install Logistics: Coordinate and manage all aspects of installation logistics, including scheduling, delivery, and setup.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external partners, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all design and installation work meets the firm's high standards and client expectations.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports on project status, timelines, and budgets to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
PMP certification is required
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience; in the interior design industry is considered a strong plus.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
